"Bisphenol A FREE" epoxy aliphatic coating

by in Productos on 25 May, 2016

Last years have shown the concern of American and European Health Authorities about bisphenol A derivatives in food contact applications. Anyway, both FDA and EFSA concluded in 2014 and 2015 that BPA poses no health risks at current exposure levels. Nevertheless, GAIRESA's commitment with our costumers and the environment have led to the development in our laboratories of a new product based on BPA FREE epoxy resins: TRIEPOX® 2094. That's an epoxy coating keeping the excellent mechanical and thermal characterisitcs typical of epoxy resins but with the added value that its yellowing resistance is much higher than the one of standard epoxy resins based on Bisphenol A diglycidylether.

TRIEPOX® 2094 has been developed as a coating for a wide variety of applications, when wheather resistance and waterproofing features are required:

  • Applications when a BPA Free epoxy coating is required.
  • Gel-coat for composites: boats, ships, wind turbines, aeronautics...
  • Anticorrosive protection for industrial ACE equipment: agriculture, construction and earth movement machinery...

TRIEPOX® 2094 provides high chemical and mechanical resistance in a wide variety of colours.
